<\/span><\/p>\nI think I\u2019m waiting for something to fire me up to require a decision. So, in the meantime, I\u2019m deciding not to decide. That\u2019s okay, too.<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve got another book simmering on the back burner. I\u2019m not quite fired up about that yet. Bits and pieces get my interest going, yet I\u2019m just not fired up about it.<\/p>\n
My \u201cfire-in-the-soul\u201d for now, is focused on the Intuitive Tarot Mastery and Certification Worth-shops I\u2019m teaching. Love that! Love to see people understanding it and getting excited about it, too.<\/p>\n
I get to be fired up about somethings and not fired up about other things. Self-judgment would tell me I\u2019m bad for that. I can let that judgment go.<\/strong><\/em> <\/p>\n I get to allow myself to live wide open about one subject and ho-hum about another. (Times past I would have expected myself to be fired up about everything all the time. Sheesh! Glad I can let that go.)<\/p>\n This time of year some people are really fired up about Christmas decorating. Phil and I don\u2019t decorate our house . . . mostly because I don\u2019t enjoy the un-decorating that happens in January . . . though in truth, I really decorated the house once a few years back and it was beautiful and perfect! Since then, it\u2019s been \u2013 been there done that, no thank you. Some people think I\u2019m terrible for not decorating the house. I\u2019m okay with that. It\u2019s just that they are all fired up about the decorations and want me to have that same feeling. I don\u2019t. It\u2019s okay that they do.<\/p>\n Conversely, I\u2019ve got some new ideas for decorating the church that I\u2019m pretty fired up about. Go figure!<\/p>\n So, how does one find the \u201cfire-in-the-soul\u201d about life?<\/strong><\/em> <\/p>\n It\u2019s pretty easy to see where the fire isn\u2019t, true? I can easily see what I\u2019m NOT fired up about \u2013 computer keyboards \u2013 decorating the house for the holidays. Trying to install a fire there is pretty fruitless and frustrating. If someone wants you to get all fired up about something and you are not, let it go. Allow them to be where they are and bless their efforts as best you can by being supportive and caring. (Wouldn\u2019t want to dampen their fire! That\u2019s not fair! Build them up and stoke their fire so they can really shine! That blesses you both!)<\/p>\n Then, take some time to consider what fires you up.<\/strong><\/em> Where do you put your energy? Are you allowing duty to drain your energy so there is no fire left? Might want to remember to bring balance into your world.<\/p>\n Usually, anything creative generates \u201cfire-in-the-soul\u201d. Often, being out in nature allows the fire to expand. Anything out of routine is helpful to break the apathy pattern that exists when the fire is missing.<\/p>\n \u201cBut, I\u2019m depressed,\u201d you might say. Breaking set patterns becomes vital as the fire is low in this case. Do one thing differently today. One thing. Doing one simple thing differently changes our perspective on lots of other things. One little thing is a spark that can ignite the bonfire of your soul!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n It\u2019s unnecessary to be fired up about everything all the time. Yet, having that \u201cfire-in-the-soul\u201d about something brightens the whole world. You feel it and shine. Others sense the shine and can catch the spark. Soon, the world is a brighter place.<\/p>\n One little change can make a huge difference in your own world. One person can make a huge difference in the world. Make a difference by doing one thing differently and see where that takes you! What an adventure!
